Dianne Hill

Dianne Hill was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 16, 1952 to the union of Marlin Trice (deceased) and Betty Jean Love-Trice (deceased). Dianne was the first born of nine sisters and one brother. Her sisters, Myi Trice, Denise Trice and Marlene (Candy) Rush who preceded her in death. Dianne loved the Lord and at an early age she was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Dianne was a very active member of New Birth Bible Church located in Los Angeles, California under the leadership of Pastor Roy C. Wheatle. Dianne always led with love and her gentle and meek spirit was certainly a reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ that dwelled so deeply in her heart. Dianne valued education as a cornerstone of her life and she instilled that in all of her children. She was a proud graduate of University City High School and St. Louis Community College. Dianne’s thirst for knowledge was evident throughout her life, as she continued to seek learning, which resulted in career opportunities in the areas of banking, customer service and multi-media. She furthered her education path by receiving her MA certification (Certified Medical Assistant), which settled her in the field of healthcare. Dianne, a devoted wife was united in Holy Matrimony to Steven Ray Hill on May 5, 1986. They have five children; Traci (preceded her in death), Tonya, Steven II, Korey and Danielle. She was a true example of a wife and “other half,” as she loved her husband infinitely! Dianne was a caring mother and grandmother to all of her children and grandchildren. She cherished her grandchildren and lavished affection on each of them. Dianne also loved each of her siblings very deeply. Her love for them was another cornerstone of her life; a bond that brought her immense joy and comfort. She cherished every moment spent together from childhood adventures to family gatherings later in life. Her devotion to her sisters and brother was unwavering and the memories they shared will forever remain a testament to the depth of her love. Dianne was a rare and remarkable soul who balanced meekness and humility with quiet yet undeniable authority. She approached life with a gentle spirit, always giving sound advice while listening with an open heart. Though sometimes soft-spoken, her words carried weight and her actions inspired trust and respect. Dianne’s wisdom made her a natural leader, which earned her admiration from all who knew her. Dianne led not through force, but by example showing that true strength lies in kindness, patience, forgiveness and unwavering integrity. Dianne’s life was a testament to the power of humility and the grace of leading with love! Dianne leaves to cherish her memory: her husband ~ Steven R. Hill; five children ~ Traci Cooksey (preceded her in death), Tonya Cooksey Walker (Maurice), Steven Hill II, Korey Cooksey and Danielle Hill; six grandchildren ~ Jazzmynn Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Kennedi Walker, Dilynn Frost, Marlee Jai Hall and Madisyn Hall; one great grandson ~ Ezra Cooksey; nine siblings ~ Norma “Myi” Trice (preceded her in death), Marlene “Candy” Rush (Jerry) (preceded her in death), Denise Trice (preceded her in death), Gail Moore, Linda Clark (John), Rita Reed (Spencer), Donna Duncan, Rev. Stephanie “Lady” Duncan and Christopher “Boy” Duncan. Additionally, she will be truly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and other loved-ones.
