Charmaine Stanfield
September 7, 1965 - April 18, 2020
Charmaine Stanfield was born on September 7, 1965 to the union of Hugh and Ella Stanfield, in St. Louis, Missouri. Her father, Hugh Stanfield; her brother, Gary; and sisters, Karen and Diane preceded her in death. She attended Webster Groves High School and went on to receive her BS in Social Work at SIU Edwardsville. Charmaine worked at the St. Louis County Department of Public Health as a Disease Intervention Specialist. She was a dedicated and faithful member of House of Deliverance Christian Ministry where she was well loved. She enjoyed soul food; traveling; second hand shopping and spending quality time with her loved ones often reminding them of their importance and purpose. She was a faithful servant of God, a crusader for teens and young adults, a loving sister, an involved and knowing aunt, a great friend and a wonderful soul. If you knew Charmaine, you knew she had many loves in life, but her passion was that she was the thread that ran downward through generations touching and impacting the lives of her many nieces and nephews and their children and their children’s children. She once said “I just enjoy seeing life through their eyes.” Charmaine leaves to cherish her memories: her husband ~ Rick Jones; her mom ~ Ella Marie Stanfield; two sisters ~ Sonja Wadley (Eligiah), Carolyn Sheppard (Robert); five brothers ~ Larry Bowles (Fannie), Hugh Stanfield, Jr. (Paris), Kevin Stanfield, Jerry Stanfield (LaTasha) and Thomas Stanfield (Tina); two God-children ~ Thomas and Kayla; uncles, aunts, a host of nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
