I'd like to first, express my Deepest Sympathy to the Entire Bolden Family. I was truly truly shocked when I heard of his passing. Joe and my brother David Little(Butch) were good friends and were in a Social Club together.Joe
was always a fun and kind of laid back person at times, and caring at the same time. As a matter of fact, the Entire Family that I remember, were a good kind hearted family.
They were also a well known and Respected
Family (growing up, back in the day) I think one of the last times that I saw Joe was at my moms funeral. I was glad to see Joe,even though someone had to tell me who he was.
I hadn't seen him in a while.
You know it's something about some of your friends you grew up with, the friendship and connection is always there. I know ,that there are no words to ease your families pain.But know, that we also share your grief ,and you are not alone. I was glad to know that Joe gave his life to CHRIST. (To be absent from the body,is to be Present With the LORD.)
I Pray, that GOD will Comfort you, that HE will
Strengthen Hearts, that HE will give you HIS Peace and that HIS Love will see you threw.
Know that the entire family, are in our Prayers.

I am taken around the rode, just ahead of the hill. In this time, I look back not to pick up something that I may have dropped. Not to stop because of fatigue. I stop and turn to reflect about Joe. A quite spirit with a welcoming smile. He and I would often listen to Miles and a host of other jazz artist and the mainstream of those current hits during my radio career. Joe was easy going and slow to be tempered. He knew his sports and usually called the shots right. I am further caused to remember his closes partner, Head and the other members of his social club, The Lords of Soul & Distinction. What a club! Beyond all that I post, Joe's journey and struggles were not easy. By the grace of The Lord, he did make up his mind and surrendered unto the powers and accepted Jesus The Christ. I will miss our conversations, his smiles and calm demeanor. Somewhere above Lavelle, Dorie, Obis, Wardell, Rose, Candice, Momma Blue, Michael and Pop Golden have a meeting going on. Rest well my brother.

My Uncle Joe was one of the most helpful people in our entire family. He loved his grandchildren to an infinity. He was so close to his Sister's, one being my Mom who he lived with for over 10 years. I am so happy to know that he was able to live with his daughter, my first cousin and grandchildren who got an opportunity to experience him like we did. I will miss how naturally, effortlessly funny he was and his knowledge of sports!!! He had such an easy going spirit and was so loved by so many. My sister, Candice will be with her favorite Uncle once again. We will truly miss Uncle Joe. . .May his soul rest in peace. . .Amen
