It's so many stories I could tell about the many conversations that we had and all the knowledge and wisdom she has given my over the years. I will always carry them deep in my heart, but I would like to start at the beginning. I met Ms. Mamie many years ago in the early 90's when I (Raenice) was very young. She was working at the Schnucks on Page. I was dating at the time and I went into the flower department and asked was it ok to send flowers to a man. She told me I could do a single red rose, and that's what I did. We talked for a long time, I don't know how long. I can say from that point on she became like another mother to me and that's what she will always be.
