Allan Laroy Ealy's Obituary
Allan L. Ealy, Sr. was born May 29, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to Mr. and Mrs. Willie Sr. ands Rachel Ealy, who preceded him in death. He attended a Pentecostal church as a child, but transferred to Baptist.
He attended Lilbourn Elementary School and then Lilbourn East High, now known as Howardsville High where he graduated in 1967. He continued his education at Ranken Technical College where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering and HVAC. With the knowledge gained from his degree and a thirty-three year career with Ameren UE, his skills and expertise were unmatchable.
Always on the call of duty, Allan committed to using those combined talents serving all those who called, no matter what time of day, even until the very end. Allan later met the love of his life, Naomi and they were married in 1998.
In 2011, he joined Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church where the Reverend Leonard Dennis was his pastor. He was a faithful member at Metropolitan, he was also a great Sunday School Teacher until his health failed. Past Master Allan was also a Master Mason in the Blue House and a member of Ameren UE’s Friendly Club.
Allan truly loved his entire family. He is preceded in death by siblings, Kerry, Arthur, Terry, Willie and Sharon. He is survived by: his wife ~ Naomi Ealy; children ~ Jackie (Carma), Tia (James), Allan Jr., Tyrone, Cynthia, Greg, Marcia (Blake), Melissia and Justin (Tiana); siblings ~ Nathaniel, Faye, Kenneth, Willie Ray (Ruby), Sonja and Faith (Paul); he also leaves to cherish his memory: a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Allan will be greatly missed by many.
