Allen Major Conley's Obituary
Allen Major Conley, the first born son of Alene Dawson Conley and Garnett Conley, Sr. was born in St. Louis MO, on June 17, 1926. Allen married Ermyntrude Flannigan and from this union they raised two children Durant and Diane.
Allen was educated in the St Louis Public School System graduating from Vashon High School. He is a graduate of Lincoln University. Allen received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army after which he began his career with the U. S. Postal Service retiring after 37 years of dedicated service. Allen received the sacraments and furthered his religious obligations by becoming a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church.
Allen transitioned on April 29, 2020. He is survived by his son Durant, daughter Diane, sister in law Ocious Norris, grandsons Durant V. and David A., relatives and friends.
