I only met Bettye once, at Sheila's housewarming party. She was up serving food for everyone, smiling and serving everyone else at an event that she wasn't even hosting. Her joy and humility impressed me. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone, even people like me whom she had never met. I am sad to hear of her passing, but I am sure the heaven has gained another angel. God bless her family.
