Bobbie Ann Watson's Obituary
On the 12th day of October, 2025, God received into his eternal presence the spirit of Bobbie Ann Watson. Our Heavenly Father preserved her life for 75 years, 5 months and 9 days. Born on May 3, 1950, Bobbie was the first born of a set of twins born to Willie James and Bessie Mae McNeal. Bobbie’s twin Bonnie, preceded her in death. Bobbie was born in Memphis, Tennessee. Bobbie accepted Christ into her life at an early age, she was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. After entering the work force, Bobbie was employed with Anheuser Busch as a bottler and retired after 32 years of service. Bobbie was blessed with four children: James, Della, Reginald (preceded her in death) and Kenneth. Bobbie was a very loving, happy, caring person. She also was very generous, she loved family. Bobbie loved crossword and word search puzzles. She also had a love for old T.V. shows, with westerns being one of her favorites. One of her favorite game shows was Press Your Luck. Those little “whammies” kept her yelling at the T.V. and it kept her laughing. She loved that game show!!! The Lord called our “Precious Mother and our Precious loved one” and His “Precious Angel” home. Bobbie transitioned from this life Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 5:23 p.m. at Mercy Hospital. She is no longer enduring any discomfort or pain and we can rest assured that she is in better hands, a better place and finally at peace. Although she will sincerely be missed, we thank our “Gracious Lord” for giving us such a wonderful mother, sister, grand/great grandmother, aunt, sister in law, mother in law, cousin and friend for 75 wonderful years. For His will is “Divine” and Power is “Almighty” and truly only He knows why He called her home. If her mission in Heaven is like the one on earth, she will rise to the challenge triumphantly. Bobbie was preceded in death by: her husband, Adolphus Watson; her son, Reginald McNeal; her grandson, Azir Gooch; her parents, Willie James and Bessie McNeal; her stepfather, Leon Hughes; her twin, Bonnie McNeal; three brothers, Lewis McNeal, William McNeal and James McNeal; one niece; six nephews; grandparents; aunts, uncles and cousins.
