Bonnie Lee McNeal's Obituary
On the 24th day of October 2021, God received into His eternal
presence the spirit of Bonnie Lee McNeal Kelley. Our Heavenly
Father, preserved her life for seventy-one years, five months and
twenty-four days. Ms. Bonnie Lee McNeal-Kelley was born on May 3,
1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to Willie James and Bessie Mae
McNeal.
Bonnie was a very loving and happy person. She loved to party and
have fun. She truly loved Memphis, where she lived for many years
and met and married her husband, Larone Kelly. After his passing
and her health started to fail, she moved back to Saint Louis,
Missouri. Bonnie had one son, DeWayne L. McNeal, who preceded
her in death.
She is no longer enduring pain and she is no longer suffering. We
can rest assured that she is in better hands, a better place and
finally at peace. Although she will be sincerely missed, we thank the
“Gracious Lord” for giving us such a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, auntie, niece and sister-in-law for seventy-one wonderful
years.
For His will is “Divine” and His power is “Almighty” and truly, only He
knows why He called her home. If her mission in Heaven is like the
one on earth, she will rise to the challenge triumphantly.
The Lord called our “Precious Sister” and His “Precious Angel”
home. She departed this life at 10:00 p.m. at Christian Northeast
Hospital. Preceding her in death are her husband, Larone; her son;
her parents; step father, Leon; grandparents; her brothers, Lewis,
William and James; seven aunts, twelve uncles and six nephews.
She leaves to cherish her memory: four sisters ~ Willy McNeal, “her
twin” - Bobbie Watson (Adolphus), Mary Coleman (Larry) and Robbin
McNeal-Thompson (Cortez Sr.); one brother ~ Ralph McNeal; four
grandchildren ~ Brittany, Ashley (Vincent), Destiny (Jaylon) and
DeWayne Jr.; three great grandchildren; two aunts ~ Helen McNeal
of Memphis, Tennessee and Helen Oliver of Saint Louis, Missouri;
fourteen nieces; sixteen nephews, twenty-three great nieces, twentythree great nephews; five great-great nephews and seven greatgreat nieces and a host of great-great-great nieces and nephews,
