Uncle Cedell,
When I first moved to Denver, my car blew its transmission. I was new to the city, trying to find my way and the city bus was the only transportation I had to find a job. Because of your graciousness, you cosigned a loan for me to get my car repaired. Then, like clockwork, you called every month to ensure I paid the monthly bill.
Your smile was as big as your heart, and I will never forget your wit. You found joy in practically everything, especially fishing. Man, you loved to fish. I remember as a kid, and I was playing with your pocket fisherman. You got mad at first, then we went to the backyard, and you were teaching me how to cast. Those are memories I will never forget.
The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor will the moon's brightness shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.
– Isaiah 60:19-20
Rest In Peace, Uncle.
