Climo Tucker's Obituary
Climo Tucker was born October 25, 1936 to the union of Kattie and
Isom Tucker in Essex, Missouri. God chose to call him home on
Thursday, July 7, 2016.
He received his education in the public school system. He met
Christine Stokes in 1957 and united in holy matrimony in 1966.
Together they raised fifteen children, eight girls and seven boys. His
parents, two brothers, two sisters, two sons and two daughters all
preceded him in death.
He worked for Feld Chevrolet for thirty-six years. He owned his own
business for over twenty years. He was well known and well liked by
everyone.
He enjoyed shooting pool, hunting, motorcycle riding, working on
cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also
started and coached a baseball team with the neighborhood
children.
The best memories of our dad is his generosity, his jokes, his
wisdom and guidance. He always made sure we had the best
Christmas. He was a devoted husband and father. He will be greatly
missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife ~ Christine; five sons ~
Stanley (Barbara), Phillip, Climo, Jerome and Derrick (Jolie); six
daughters ~ Phyllis, Ruth, Deborah, Belinda (Steve), Adrienne and
Laurel (Detric); two daughters-in-law ~ Sonya and Thelma; one
sister ~ Dr. Simmie Leach; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-eight
great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
