Dominic Ric Aire Ray Jr.'s Obituary
Dominic “Lil D” Ric Aire Ray, Jr. was born on November 12, 2010 to the
union of Dominic Ray, Sr. and Juaquita Lee in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Dominic "Lil Nic" gave us so much joy especially his little sisters, Bubbles, Sweet
Pea and Joy-Joy. His loving and caring spirit was spread to everyone he met; the
hospital, the schools, his cousins and aunties and his grannies and papas. Lil
D’s smiles brought joy to us all.
Dominic Ric Aire Ray, Jr. was baptized at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital
by Reverend Marvin Sullivan of Ward Chapel African Methodist Episcopal
Church in 2010, we gave him his life to Christ at an young age.
Lil Nic, was a wonderful and sweet kid. He liked to tell jokes, rough house with
his cousins and sibling. He had a quirky smile and he was mischievous in ways
that made it laughable. In Lil Nic voice, “Awwwwww Grannie/Nana or Papa”,
“Awwwww, Teetee”.
Lil D truly loved his video games, his cell phone and loved to dress. He stayed
clean like his daddy, Big D; fresh cut, Air Jordan's and the newest video game
with his cap turn backwards. Dominic was filled with love and was blessed with
the power to fight and never give up. Lil D will be truly missed.
Dominic was a fifth grader at Koch Elementary in the Riverview Gardens School
District. He was adored by his classmates, teachers and staff, whom surrounded
him with much support and kindness throughout his illness.
Sadly, Dominic departed from us on Tuesday, March 2, 2022 at Children’s
Hospital.
