Don and I were friends from day one. He thought about the world differently and had a personality bigger than the sky. He's was a friend of the highest caliber that was always there for his real ones. He was a special individual that showed love in way only he could. Ms. Carter, I so sorry. I loved your son deeply. The are no words that can incapsulate the loss this world has suffered.

Don and I were inseparable for many years. His parents and home were second parents and home to me and vice versa. We were always at each other's homes. He was fun to be around and easy to talk to. We would have a lot of great conversations. He was insightful, intelligent, spiritual, loyal, generous and protective of his friends and family. Some of my favorite memories of him involved music. He was passionate about all sorts of musicians from various genres and hearing them in their purest form, as in high fidelity audio. He introduced me to so many new ways of thought, artists, products. I am going to miss just talking on the phone and having great philosophical conversations.
