Emma Missy Jackson's Obituary
Emma Missy Jackson a.k.a. “Black” was born on October 27, 1961 to
Henry and Arrutha Jackson. She was the seventh out of ten children.
She was educated in the Saint Louis Public School System.
Emma confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Kingsway Baptist
Church under the leadership of Rev. Allen Winbush.
She was gifted with a beautiful voice. She loved to sing gospel music and
she could play softball very well.
Sadly, Emma departed this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. She was
preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Emma Lou Thompson;
her parents, Henry and Arrutha Jackson; two brothers, Reginald Jackson
and George Jackson; and two grandchildren, Jamarion and Ayana.
Emma leaves to cherish her memories: her five children ~ Margaret
Jackson, Marquis Jackson, Larry Beckton, Laurie Beckton and
Reginald Jackson; nineteen grandchildren ~ Zjherlik Sr., Zjherkeya,
Davion, Hannah, Destaneci, Norval, Adrieon, Larrion, Jaylan leā, Aleā,
Lynden, Pamela, Larry Jr., Latavia, LeAsiā, India, Rudy, Mahlik and
Nevaehī; five great grandchildren ~ Zjherlik Jr., Zjhermeir, Ariana, Rico
and Royalty; seven siblings ~ Mary, Lorayne, Sharon (Lee), Deborah ,
Snobia, Ronald and Dennis; one uncle ~ Henry Thompson (Sandra);
one aunt ~ Beverly Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends that loves her.
