Emmanuel Oluchi Nwaobasi's Obituary
Emmanuel Nwaobasi was born on September 18, 1958, in Okpala,
Nigeria. His parents, Juliana and Onyeoziri Nwaobasi both preceded him in
death. Emmanuel was preceded in death by his two brothers (Samuel and
Godfrey).
Emmanuel accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He
attended the University of St. Louis Missouri and received his Bachelor of
Science Degree in Accounting. He furthered his education by completing a
Master of Business Administration Degree from Webster University in
Webster Groves, Missouri.
Emmanuel worked for the Department of Revenue in Saint Louis Missouri
as a Senior Tax Auditor for eighteen years. Emmanuel later transferred to
Bellefontaine Rehabilitation in Bellefontaine Neighbors where he was
loved by his co-workers.
Emmanuel married the love of his life, Stella; and to this union, two
children were born, Jennifer and Emmanuel Jr. Emmanuel loved spending
time with his family and working with his hand. This is evident with the
landscaping around his home.
Emmanuel departed this life on July 8, 2023. He leaves to cherish his
memory: devoted wife, Stella; son, Emmanuel; daughter, Jennifer
Nwaobasi; two brothers, Felix Nwaobasi and Chidi Nwaobasi; three sisters,
Chinyere Aghalaya, Virginia Nwachuky and Rosita Mbah; sisters-in-law,
Mrs. Uchenna Nwaobasi, Mrs. Ezinne Chigozie Nwaobasi and Mrs. Nkechi
Nwaobasi; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
