Garrett Leon Weddle's Obituary
Garrett Leon Weddle was the first child born to Mr. Roger Lee Graves
and Ms. Geraldine Miller in Jackson, Tennessee on March 7, 1964.
At an early age he was baptized and joined the Mt. Sinai MBC in
St. Louis, Missouri. In 1976, he and his family moved their
membership to Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.
Garrett was a faithful employee of Mers Goodwill and Worth Industry
for thirty years.
Garrett had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that could
break glass. He was sweet as pie until you messed with his money.
He loved money and when he was low you knew it. Although he was
special needs, he didn't want to be labeled as such. From moving on
his own to getting his drivers permit, he didn't allow his disability to
limit his drive.
Garrett attended Northwest High School and graduated in 1982.
Garrett departed this life on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
He leaves to cherish: his loving and supportive mother and step
father ~ Mrs. Geraldine Miller and Mr. Titus Miller; his father ~
Mr. Roger Lee Graves of Denmark, Tennessee (who preceded him in
death); two brothers ~ Tyrone Miller of St. Louis, Missouri and Roger
Graves of Denmark, Tennessee; four sisters ~ Regina Weddle (who
preceded him in death), Dorian Miller of St. Louis, Missouri, Brenda
Graves and Lisa Graves of Denmark, Tennessee; he also leaves a host
of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
