Gloria Ann Anderson's Obituary
Gloria Ann Hamilton was born December 1, 1952, in Saint Louis,
Missouri. She was one of six children born to the union of Rev. Willie
Hamilton and Aggie Rutherford.
Gloria graduated from Sumner High School with the class of 1970,
then went on to earn an associate degree in paralegal studies
from Sanford Brown College and a bachelor’s degree in legal studies
from Webster University.
Gloria married Curtis Lee Anderson in April 1973, and they had six
children: James, Jason, Jeremy, Jonathan, Janeen, and Jamahl.
Gloria was a great servant of the Lord. She grew up in church and
accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She always loved singing
and sang in the choir. But Gloria also served on the usher board,
taught Sunday school, ministered to the homeless, and expressed
her faith in many other acts of service.
She went on to glory on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Gloria was
preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William.
She is survived by: her husband ~ Curtis; their children ~ James,
Jason, Jeremy, Jonathan, Janeen, and Jamahl; her sisters ~ Mae,
Ruby, Rose, and Vanessa; and five grandchildren ~ Thomas, Kenai,
Sophie, Carter, and Josh.
