Dad,
I just want you to know that you were the best Father & Grandfather anyone could ever ask for. I am so grateful to have shared my life with you for over 42 years and to have you a part of your grandchildren lives for over 24 years. There is not a moment that goes by that I don't thank God for allowing me to be in the presence of such a great man. You were always there for all of us, no matter the situation. You knew I was just a phone call away as you have always been as well and I would do anything for you. We will celebrate your life on your birthday with respect & dignity.... I miss you so much that words cannot even describe my emotions. 😪😪😪 I ask you help keep me focussed & continue to guide me through this life on earth. Thank you for everything you've done, everything you've taught me, & for every moment we had together.
I remember you would say such funny things to me about technology (smiles) but you were pretty good with those smart phones "and carryings on" (as you would say). I remember you called me to ask about switching your keyboard to an emoji keyboard & I said, "alright Dad I'll be down there, or call Riyona or Jay... They can help you." Then you called back an hour later & said "that's alright baby I got it." (Smiles) I came to visit you anyway with a new leather cellphone case. You know how sharp you like to be. I guess that's where I get it from huh. Not ever would I visit you if my hair was not presentable. You definitely didn't go for that from any of us. 😊
