Mr Berry was a dedicated family man that demonstrated no a nonsense approach to fostering old school family values(education, hard work, respect and dignity). He always showed that he cared about our individual well being, our parents, our scholastic responsibilities and extra curricular activities. He demonstrated the hard work and dedication it took to maintain a family.
Mr Harvey was very involved in our lives as we were growing up and all of the Berry family truly are family. His loving nature, kindness and desire to always jump in when needed was always a blessing. I’m very fortunate to have known and been able to call him family. You’ll truly be missed.
I remember Harvey in many positive ways-with a “Big Smile” and a great sense of humor, always great, with a story. Praying, for strength, comfort, courage, to face the days and loving memories, to forever hold in your heart!
Mr. Harvey was one of the sweetest most genuine men that I knew. His spirit will be missed by all.
He was a GREAT example of what is really the standard of a GOOD man. He was an outstanding family man and was the first example for me of manhood. He IS my uncle and I will always cry when I think of him and miss him and laugh when I think of the good times. 'Grazin' In The Grass' by Friends Of Distinction was the song he always cut loose and sing like he was a member of the group, when we were little kids. The song will never sound any better without his vocals.
