“A Time to be born”
Hazel W. Brown was born June 12, 1928 in St. Louis Missouri to John H. Ware and Cecilia Norfleet Ware, whom have preceded her in death. Her eldest sister, Irene Ware Ross and youngest brother, Delbert Dee Ware preceded her in death.
“A Time to Love”
Hazel W. Brown has one child, Blaine Carmichael Ware. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Rudolph E. Brown who preceded her in death.
“A Time to Plant”
Hazel W. Brown’s education was within the St. Louis Public School System. She attained her degree in teaching at Stowe Teachers College, which allowed her to pursue her passion as a Kindergarten teacher of 42 years at Dunbar Elementary in St. Louis, Missouri. Hazel possessed a phenomenal memory. Remembering her students’ names and family details was just one example of her unique skill.
“A Time to Render”
“From Cradle to Row”, Hazel was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church. In more recent years Hazel joined Trinity Mt. Carmel with her niece, Lovie. She was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Sumner Alumni Organization (Chapter 1946-1951), and Crusaders for Christ with Christ Southern Mission Church.
“A Time to Die”
A Beautiful life ended on June 17, 2015. Sister Hazel W. Brown answered her call. God saw that she was growing weary, so God did what he knew best.
“A Time to Mourn”
She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved son, Blaine Ware; her brother, John H. Ware Jr.; sister-in –law, Edna Ware; her best friend Betty Humphries; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Hazel’s memories will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her.
