Hazel Schaffer's Obituary
Hazel Schaffer was born July 3, 1962 to Odesa Criss. She grew up
in the St. Louis area and graduated from Sumner High School.
She ran track in high school and won most of her races.
Hazel was an extremely neat and a very hard working person. She
worked at Benjamin Ansehl for eighteen years as an assembly
worker and at KV Pharmacy for eleven years as a fork lift driver.
Hazel gave birth to Kendra Schaffer in 1988 and married Kent
(Kenny) Schaffer in 1991. Hazel loved the Lord and committed
herself to Christ at an early age at Christ Holiness Temple (UHC)
under Pastor Dr. Geraline Smith in St. Louis.
God called Hazel home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:30
p.m. Her mother preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband ~ Kent B.
Schaffer; one daughter ~ Kendra Thomas; four grandchildren ~
Aniya, Amorryi, Akeyri and Aaliyah; two brothers ~ David Wright
(Monica) and Charles Johnson (Maxine); mother-in-law ~ Norma
Schaffer; two brothers-in-law ~ Eric and Errol Schaffer; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Havel was a very loving and caring person and she will truly be
missed by all who knew her.
