Helen L. Jackson's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Lucille (Brown) Jackson was born on December 9, 1926 to the union of Ellis Brown and Kaola (Kirksey) Brown in Saint Louis, Missouri. Both parents preceded her in death.
Helen Jackson received her formal education from the Saint Louis Public School System and graduated from Vashon High School.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Elwood Jackson in 1960. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Helen accepted Jesus Christ at the early age of six years old, joining Union Memorial United Methodist Church located at Leffingwell and Pine under Rev. Dr. B.F. Abbott and remained a faithful member under Rev. Dr. Cheree Trent Mills at the new location, 1141 Belt Avenue, until her health failed.
She was a member of the Sara Clardy (Circle 3), while attending Union Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Bronze Ladies Social Club.
Helen departed this Earthly life on December 25, 2019 at Mercy Hospital to begin her journey with the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and United Memorial United Methodist Church family and friends.
