Our loved ones resting, labors done
have found a home beyond the sun,
They’ve found the gifts they labored for,
The richest gifts of heaven’s store.
They’ve found sweet peace and quiet rest
And live and move among the blessed.
We grieve for them but surely they have found
A better brighter Day!
God saw the road was getting rough,
The hill was hard to Climb.
He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered,
“Peace be thine.”
The weary hours, the days of pain,
The sleepless nights are passed,
The ever patient worn-out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.
Proverbs 3:5 KJV:
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding
