Ja'Mad Cortez Edwards' Obituary
Ja’Mad C. Edwards was born to the parents of Antoya White and James
Graham, Jr. on July 5, 2008.
He was a Mama’s boy to the heart. He was also his Daddy’s best friend.
Ja’Mad loved wrestling and going to football and basketball games. He
was a soft-spoken kid and well mannered.
Ja’Mad confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized in the name of Jesus
at Greater Grace Church under the leadership of Pastor Larry Jones.
He attended Hazelwood East High School and was in his junior year. His
focus was maintaining his grades. He was looking forward to graduating
the following school year. He not only had a goal for himself, but he
wanted to set a positive example for his little sisters.
Ja’Mad loved traveling with his family. He enjoyed being around his
siblings as well as his cousin Poodie and brother Chris playing video
games. In his spare time, he went to the movies and watched sports. He
was also an avid collector of Jordan Tennis shoes. He loved summer so he
could swim.
Ja’Mad was the love of our life and will be missed by all.
Ja’Mad departed this early life on April 22, 2025.

Jon and James Sr. (preceded in death); great grandmother ~ Janice; six
sisters ~ Makayla, Makenzie, Erin, Erial, Envy and Treasure; three brothers
~ Ahmad (preceded in death), Chris and James; auntie ~ Juanisha; two
uncles ~ Jaron and Jarrell; girlfriend ~ Korri; nephew ~ Ahmad; and a host
of family and friends.
