James Craig Netter's Obituary
James Craig Netter aka (Cadi, Cadillac) was born February 2, 1963 in Saint Louis,
Missouri. He was the fourth of eight children born to the union of Willie James and
Ruby L. Netter. He is preceded in death by his father, affectionately known as “WJ”
and his brother, Carl Travis Netter “All Daddy”.
James was educated in the Saint Louis Public School System attending Soldan High
School. Cadi was known as one of the few students that drove a car to school every
day, as well as being a sharp dresser. His love for cars, specifically Cadillac’s and the
automobile industry led him to work for Joe-K Used Cars.
He was so successful he eventually gave into his entrepreneurial aspirations and
started selling cars for a living as an independent car dealer.
James confessed his love in Christ at an early age at the New Mount Gideon West
Missionary Baptist, Church where he served in the choir and worshipped with family
and friends. He always kept God in his heart and soul while nurturing his own personal relationship with God. He never hesitated to witness and testify on his goodness
and how the Lord has blessed and kept him over the years.
Cadi loved spending time with his family and friends and had a special place in his
heart for all his nieces and nephew. He shared a special bond with his nephew Brian
Broom “Rock” and his great nephew “Tilor”. He made it a point to spend quality time
with his nieces and nephews and cherished all those moments dearly. Cadi would
say his favorite mantra to his family, it’ll be Greater Later!
Cadi has been very inspirational in the lives of many young men and women. He
always encouraged them to succeed in life by believing in themselves all while
teaching them the art of the hustle and grind. He took every opportunity to show
them love and to share his wisdom with them, using his own personal successes in
life to motivate them. Cadi has been a father figure to many and no doubt the love,
motivation and life lessons he shared with them has changed the trajectory of many
young lives.
