Janet Gregory's Obituary
Janet Gregory was born on June 13, 1950 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Emmitt
Randle and Gennie V. Randle, who preceded her in death.
Janet moved to St. Louis, Missouri with her family at the age of four, and was
baptized at the age of fourteen at New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church
Rev. D.J. Jones in 1964.
After graduating from Sumner High School, Janet attended charm/modeling
school and was encouraged to pursue modeling due to her outgoing personality
and great physique. She enjoyed watching game shows and westerns, and most
of all shopping. She had a passion for sewing as she was an exceptional
seamstress.
She married Ralph Gregory and from that union, four children were born:
Calvin J. Williams, Anita M. Gregory (Trotter), Tajuana C. Gregory and Gennie V.
Gregory.
Janet worked as a home healthcare worker for several years for the State of
Missouri until she was forced to retire early due to illness. Although she
endured many illnesses, she always managed to keep a smile on her face and
never complained.
