Jerome Goston's Obituary
Jerome Goston was born April 29, 1963 to Carol
and Johnny Goston Jr.
Jerome enjoyed all sports, all kinds of music, western movies and making people laugh. He never
met a person he didn’t like. He gave his life to
Christ and was baptized at an early age. Jerome
was a member of Mt. Chapel M.B. Church and a
Sumner High School Bulldog where he was a member of the band. After high school he began working as a painter and later drove shuttle vans for
the airport until his health declined.
Jerome was called home to be with the Lord, February 7, 2021 at 5:25
a.m. while in St. Mary’s Hospital. He was preceded in death by both
parents, as well as his son-in-law, Devon Henry Sr.
In his latter years he resided at Lifecare Center of Florissant and
Crestview Rehabilitation where he was affectionately known to be the
Pied Piper of music. Everywhere he went he carried his speaker
playing music as he went along his way. He was called the “Music
Man”, even during his many hospital stays he continued sharing his
love for music with doctors, nurses, and anyone within earshot.
