Jesse Rodgers' Obituary
esse Rodgers was born on January 17, 1950 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was the youngest of nine children of the late Ruben Earl and Elizabeth Rodgers. Jesse attended the Saint Louis Public School System. Jesse found Christ at an early age while attending Williams Temple in Saint Louis, Missouri. Jesse was employed by Schnucks Inc. as a Stock Worker. He worked for the Overnight Trucking Co. for several years. He volunteered for the Riverview Garden School System. His last job was at the Salvation Army, he loved working there because he loved working with people. Even through his sickness, he never gave up working. He went every year until God called him to rest. Jesse loved his pork fried rice, Church’s Chicken and Bar-b-que. He also loved to cook his favorites, pig ears, pig feet and neck bones. He truly loved his family, children and grandchildren. Jesse leaves to cherish his memories: daughters ~ Elizabeth and Ashley Rodgers; one brother ~ Robert Earl Rodgers (Aurella); significant other of 46 years ~ Jacqueline Acre; grandchildren ~ Alexia Davis, Mariah Hayden, Arthur Rice, Malaya James, Elyjah Adams, and Majusti Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
