John Daniel Booker Jr.'s Obituary
John Daniel Booker, Jr. was born October 29, 1944 to the
union of John Daniel Booker, Sr. and Lacy Cooper Booker.
Johns parents and his sister, Norma Jean Booker and Johns oldest son, Verlon Bedford preceded him in death.
John was fondly called “Pete” amongst other nicknames such
as Big Pete, JB, Big John, Booker, Booker man, but “Pete” out
ruled above the others.
Pete met Patricia Keller Blalock in 1975 and they married in
1982, from that union a son John Daniel Booker The Third
resulted and Pete also raised daughter Jacques Jacqueline
Blalock as his own. Her nickname is J.J.
Pete was an entrepreneur, owning an upholstery business at
one time, a carry out restaurant at one time, known as
Broadway Wings n Things, he at one time , co-partnered a car
wash with Cousin Brian Booker also known as “Squeaky”.
The car wash was titled Squeaky Clean Car Wash, and finally
a catering business titled Booker Foods.
Pete’s hobbies were playing chess and cooking. Also feeding
multitudes of people in the state of Missouri.
He leaves such an extremely large linage of family as well of
friends, that, it would be impossible to list everyone. He
always voiced how much he loved them all. He leaves his wife
Patricia, his son, Petey; his daughter, Jacques; and his
mother-in-law, Mrs. Roseanne Keller.
