John Wesley Poston's Obituary
John Wesley Poston was born on October 24, 1940 to the union of
Wesley and Susie Poston. He was the youngest of six children. The final
chapter of his life was written on December 29, 2017.
John was educated in the St. Louis Public School System. John was
united in holy matrimony to his late wife Betty (Miner) Poston on June
17, 1961 and to this union, three children were born: Rosalyn Outlaw,
Barbara Poston and John Wesley Poston, Jr.
John worked for Central Parking for many years. He was a dedicated
worker.
John was preceded in death by his wife Betty Poston, daughter Barbara
Poston, parents Wesley and Susie Poston, brother Willie Poston and
sister Clara Sanders.
John leaves to cherish his memories: his two children ~ Rosalyn (Virgil)
Outlaw and John (Erica) Poston, Jr.; three stepchildren ~ Tracy (Willie)
Finney, Jerri Poston and Daniel Rice; three sisters ~ Marie, Johnnie
Mae and Susie; three sisters-in-law ~ Mary, Shellina and Jeannie; two
brothers-in-law ~ Anthony Miner and Norman Sanders; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
