Joseph Hulsey's Obituary
Joseph Andrew Hulsey was born on February 25,
1956 to Marion Hulsey and Charles Hulsey. Joseph
was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. Joseph,
aka “Kokomo Joe”, spent most of his time in
Meacham Park with family and friends.
Joseph graduated from South County Tech in 1974,
there he met his beautiful wife, Helen. Joseph and
Helen got married on October 28, 1977 and had
three beautiful daughters, Melissa, Kimberly and
Heather. Joseph and Helen were married for forty-six years; together,
there were an unstoppable team. In their shared journey through life, he
was her rock and she was his anchor. Together, they built a life filled
with love, family and treasured memories. Joseph’s legacy lives on in her
heart.
Joseph worked at Rejis for thirty-five years as a Data Processor Analyst.
Joseph’s greatest accomplishments were marrying his lovely wife and
raising his three girls.
Joseph was a “one of a kind-jack of all trades” type of man.
Joseph loved fishing, drinking, watching the news, making people laugh,
his grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by Marion, Charles, Steven, Charles
“Butch”, Robert—his baby boy; his granddaughter, Marissa and
Eugenia “Toosie”.
Joseph leaves to cherish: his wife ~ Helen; his three girls ~ Melissa,
Kimberly and Heather; his siblings ~ Delores (James) Mclain-Riley;
Theresa (Ron) Watkins and Patrick Hulsey; grandchildren ~ Makayla,
Willie, Trevion, Maalik, Petey, Mya, Izaiah, Dashawn, Jaylen, Noah and
Ollie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
