To our Peters' Family: On behalf of the Waller family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and love at this time. You know we have always been more like family then friends for more than 50 years. We loved Joyce and we love you too. Joyce was just a bundle of joy. She never complained to me about being sick. When I talked to her, she oftentimes uplifted me. I shall never forget her smile, nor her kindness and hospitality to me and the entire Waller family. We love you all! May God continue to bless you.

To the Peters’ Family:
I am so very sorry about your loss. Your sister, auntie, cousin, and my sister-in-law became a good friend to me in recent years and her passing is a terrible tragedy for all of us who knew her. You have my deepest sympathy.
I will remember the family and other love ones in my prayers. I ask God to supply sufficient grace so that they may be comforted in this, their time of bereavement and that they may feel the comfort of the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Joyce was an inspiration to me. I admired all those wonderful qualities that made her the special person that she was. She had intelligence, wit, charm, and a caring heart that made her a great sister-in-law and great friend. I will always be thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know her better and to call her a friend. I will cherish her memory for years to come.
I truly believe that she was a gift from God that came closer into my life at exactly the time I needed her most, after the death of my husband, Ollie, her oldest brother. She gave me courage and strength to carry on. We laughed, talked, and yes we even exercised together every morning until her illness.
Joyce will be greatly missed, but we can take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, basking and smiling in His light and the warmth of His love where she has found perfect peace and joy. I thank our God for her memory, and pray for those nearest to her who feel her loss the greatest.
Friends and family are a gift from God
They bring us joy and happiness
And help us in times of need
That’s why I can truly say
How glad I am that Joyce Peters was my family and friend
In Friendship and Faith,
Annie M. Peters, Sister-in-law
