Kearra Monae Thomas' Obituary
Kearra Monae Thomas was born on February 21, 1988 at Deaconess Hospital in
Saint Louis, Missouri to Larissa Randle and Darren Alexander, Sr. She was baptized on
April 7, 2002 at Westside Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Ronald L. Bobo, Sr.
Kearra graduated in 2006 from Construction Career Center and later chose the healthcare
field as her career, where she dedicated over six years of her life working as a CNA at
Creve Coeur Manor.
She married her longtime sweetheart, Arthel Thomas, Sr. with whom they brought two
children into the world, Akearah Thomas and Arthel Thomas, Jr.
Kearra was a loving mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and cousin. She
loved to dance, laugh, pose for pictures and act silly with family and friends. She was best
known for passionately expressing herself and being a free spirit. Her creative and
unapologetic characteristics was expressed in her hairstyles and wardrobe. She shared a
very close and special bond with her mother and loved her kids unconditionally.
Kearra was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Lazrus Davis; great grandmother,
Mildred Davis; grandfather, Charles Scott; grandfather, Columbus Alexander; grandmother,
Lizzie Alexander; brother, Darren Alexander, Jr.; uncles, Eddie Johnson, Jr. and Joshua
Scott.
Kearra is survived by: her mother ~ Larissa Randle (Jimmy Randle); father ~ Darren
Alexander, Sr.; husband ~ Arthel Thomas, Sr.; children ~ Akearah Thomas and Arthel
Thomas Jr.; brothers ~ Darrek Alexander and Rodney Woods; sisters ~ Lataya Alexander,
Sheari Cavin and Ziniya Alexander; grandmother ~ Sheree Davis; and a host of aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
