To the Vaughn Family,
We, the Hazelwood North Middle School Parent Teachers Students Association (PTSA), send our love and condolences to you in the loss of your mother and the beloved “Granny” of North Middle School, Officer Vaughn. During this difficult time, we commend you to the capable hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God’s word reminds us that He is a very present help.
The tie that binds Officer Vaughn and our school family that she guided, protected, and nurtured with love, together blesses us. We celebrate with you the life of Officer Vaughn as we reflect on her time at North Middle School. Officer Vaughn had a passion for children and always reminded each student to “Make Good Choices!” We are so thankful to have her memory echo in the halls of North Middle School. God sent her to us and she remained a faithful servant until her health failed. We thank Officer Vaughn for how she loved and protected each member of the North Middle School family and now the legacy and impact of love that she leaves to so many.
Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. The word of God reminds us in 2nd Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”
As you walk through this valley of the shadow of death, find comfort in the sweet memories of Officer Vaughn. Know that God has loaned her to you, to us, for many years and has now afforded her a home on high.
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Prayerfully submitted by,
