LaTonya Donya Flemon's Obituary
LaTonya was born on August 3, 1975 to the union of Robert and
Lizzie Mae Miller in Saint Louis, Missouri.
LaTonya grew up in the unincorporated neighborhood and received
her education in the Normandy School District. She also went to
Cosmetology school and received her Hair License in 2002.
LaTonya had a great care for people which lead to her working for
years as a CNA. She worked at various nursing homes, at the state
hospital and also at the United Cerebral Palsy, where she met the
love of her life, Lamont Flemon in 2000 and in 2002, they were
united in Holy Matrimony. They came together as a blended family
and shared six children.
LaTonya dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and learned
from many great pastors until her husband became a pastor in
2020. She served the most high God to the fullest and also the
people of God. She became a Deaconess Missionary on August 6,
2024. LaTonya loved to serve. She did hair for many years, as well
as owning a daycare. LaTonya and her husband opened a home
healthcare business in 2014, which is still open and thriving today.
LaTonya had a gift of creating everlasting friendships and
memories wherever her feet landed. LaTonya was caring, loving,
giving, very kind and very stern too; she had the biggest heart and
loved everyone. LaTonya was an awesome artist, a beautiful singer
and an all around creative woman of God. She could make a gift
out of a paper bag.
After a short battle in the hospital, LaTonya was called home on
March 18, 2025. Tonya was the baby girl of ten children and she
was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, James A. Watts,
Anthony Miller and Barbara J. Miller; four aunts, one uncle and her
nephews, Armond Miller, Alfonso Watts, Sr. and Theodis Watts, Jr.
