Lillie Mae Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Lillie Mae Williams, affectionately known as "TACK," was born in
Jackson, Mississippi, March 25, 1948, to Miss Rosie Jones. You could
always get a smile and some good advice from TACK.
Lillie was educated in Scott School of Sikeston, Missouri. Tack was a
mother before actually being a mother to Claude Harper, Jr. On October
12, 1976, God blessed Tack with another son, Torrance Lavell Harper.
Then in 1980, a daughter, Rosalyn Williams, and in 1984 she welcomed
another son, Courtney Williams. Tack loved her kids. Lily loved her kids and
her family.
She loved when she would see any of them. She loved shopping and
hanging out with her daughter. Her face would light up whenever she seen
her sons. Lily had a special bond with everyone she came in contact with.
All her nieces and nephews had to have their one-on-one time with her
whenever they seen her. Everybody loved to talk to Tack.
Tack spent most of her life working as a housekeeper and loving on her
family. Tack was a grandmother to Atavia Harper, Savior Harper, Shakura
Harper, Lynesha Warren, Ayana Owens, and great-grandmother to Kimora
Harper. Tack would try to help any and everybody.
Tack’s life legacy is survived by: three kids ~ Torrance Harper, Claude
Harper and Rosalyn Williams; brother ~ Jesse Davis and L.C. Jones; sister
~ Mary Jones. Tack lived 76 full and blessed years. She also leaves behind
a host of others who looked to her as their godmother, stepmother, and
the person they considered their safe place - nieces, nephews, cousins
and family
