Lula Morrison's Obituary
Lula Mae Palmer-Morrison was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi on June
18, 1932 to Queen Ann and Felix Moore. She was the youngest of five
siblings, Inola, Gabe, Sarah, Lawrence, all whom preceded her in death.
Lula spent her working years in the healthcare field as an LPN until her
retirement. Lula was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt and
grandmother who so dearly loved her family.
After moving to Saint Louis, Lula gave her life to Lord and was a lifetime
member of Mount Herald Missionary Baptist Church. She sang in the
choir under the pastorage of Rev. Eugene Barney until her health failed.
Lula leaves to cherish her memories: five sons ~ Ronnie Harris, Sr.
(Debra), Rufus Moore (Gwendolyn), Jamison Palmer, Sr. (Reece), Herbert
Palmer and Vincent Palmer (Andrea); a special grandson ~ Ronnie
Harris, Jr., whom she raised from birth; nineteen grandchildren; twentytwo great grandchildren; and a host nieces and nephews.
Two sons, Willie Moore (Jacqueline) and Terry Palmer; two grandsons,
Marcus Moore and Vincent Palmer, Jr.; her stepfather, Clarence Sykes
(Pajah) all preceded her in death.
