Magnolia Minor's Obituary
Magnolia Minor was born in Sunflower, Mississippi on April 2, 1930
to Eddie Merzell and Minnie Merzell.
Jesse and Magnolia moved to Saint Louis in 1957 with their family.
Where she worked as a housewife and caregiver. Magnolia loved to
cook and take care of her family. With every word and touch she
puts all her love into it and it was always felt; something that will
be remembered forever.
Magnolia joined our heavenly father on March 16, 2024. She is
reunited with her mother, Minnie Merzell; father, Eddie Merzell;
husband, Jesse E. Minor, Sr.; sister, Pearline Mae Thomas;
sons, Jesse E. Minor, Jr. and Johnnie Minor; daughter, Minnie Lou;
grandson, Alfonso Hinton and a host of other loved ones who
preceded her.
She leaves behind to hold and love her memories: her daughter ~
Diane Minor; granddaughter ~ Nebra Miller (Larry); grandson ~
LaCeon Minor (Reonta) and Harold; granddaughter ~ Katina;
great grandsons ~ Michael (Raquel), Antione (Shay), Marquis
(Denise), Djuan, Demond and Tyron; granddaughters ~ Amber
(Jason), Jessica, Ke’la, Rashawn and Lashawn; her twenty-two great
-great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
