Marian Keller-Peebles' Obituary
Marian Vonderlee Keller-Peebles was born on May 24, 1940 in
Kinloch, Missouri to the late James and Minnie Bell Streeter-Keller.
She professed a hope in Christ at St. James Baptist Church in
Kinloch, Missouri. Later in life, she joined the Second Baptist Church of
Kinloch.
Marian worked as a clerk at Firmin Desloges Hospital, known as
Saint Louis University Hospital for fifteen years. She retired from the
Missouri Department of Family Services as a Case Worker, where she
worked for twenty years.
She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club and enjoyed socializing
with them and other friends she met on Wednesdays at the Berkeley
Civic Center. Marian loved going with her husband and others on short
bus trips.
Marian is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Keller and James
Keller.
Marian leaves many who will cherish her memory including: her loving
husband ~ Sylvester Peebles; her daughter ~ Angela Renee Small
(Emanuel); granddaughter ~ Chastity Jevon Hodge; brother ~ William
Keller; nephews and nieces ~ Eric Keller, Donna Keller, Rodney
Keller and Michael Keller; stepdaughters ~ Sylva Wilson and Nicole
Miller; step granddaughters ~ Genesis Joy Wilson, Brittany Maree Wilson and Hayley Renee Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends
whom she loved
