Markel Daniel Brown was born on January 12, 1995 to Alfreda Marie Brown and Robert Daniel Smith in St. Louis, Missouri.
Markel attended and graduated from University City High School. Three of his main passions were basketball, music, and money. He enjoyed being with friends and family, just enjoying life everyday. He was a loving, giving and kind hearted person. He would give his last to those he loved. He had a very out-going personality and so much charisma.
Markel departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2015. He is preceded in death by his older brother, Lil Bobby and his grandfather, Leon Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother ~ Alfreda Brown; father ~ Robert Smith; one daughter ~ Amirah Brown; four sisters ~ Shyneisha Brown (Shay), Ronniece Smith, Shaniece Smith and Chelsey Smith; two brothers ~ Michael Brown and Monterio Smith; one special niece ~ Ra’miyah Banks; four nephews ~ Romie Banks, Jr., Monterio Smith, Jr., Michael Brown and Christian Brown; one grandmother ~ Walterene Brown; one special cousin ~ Taniesha Brown; and the love of his life and mother of his child ~ Erika Murphy; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, childhood brothers and friends.
