Marquis Cortez Hunter “Roscoe” was born on November 7, 1990 in
Saint Louis, Missouri to Kelly Cherry and Timothy Wilson.
Marquis attended Saint Louis Public Schools. Marquis started boxing as
a teenager.
Marquis had a work history as a mechanic and in the field of
Construction.
Marquis was a wonderful father. He helped build the new Greyhound
Station, the Lindbergh tunnel and a hotel in Clayton, Missouri. Marquis
had his own lawn care business. He was a skilled entrepreneur. He was
the jack of all trades and earned his way.
Marquis was a great boxer. He enjoyed being with his kids, working on
cars and being surrounded by family.
Patricia Ronan preceded him in death.
Marquis leaves to cherish: three children ~ Malik Hunter, Muraclle
Hunter and Emonie Hunter; mom ~ Kelly Cherry; dad ~ Timothy Wilson;
stepdad ~ Robert Bailey; grandparents ~ Jeane Lange and Jim
