I am so, so saddened by the sudden passing of Mrs. Maxine. I couldn't be there physically but I already knew in my spirit God wanted me to remember her as she was, as He continues to uplift my spirit and comfort me after the passing of my own mother not so long ago. I can never thank Mrs. Maxine and Mr. Prentice enough for taking me in as their own when I moved to St. Louis to complete a health administration fellowship. Baby Sis, Glenda, and Gale were my big sisters, always looking after me, and they still do when I go back to visit. Mrs. Maxine was an example to me, a great matriarch, a praying, and a church going woman. It is so evident to see the hand of God on this family and the blessings that have poured down from the parents to the children, grandchildren, and great-grand children because she put God first. Mrs. Maxine lived a great and telling life. I will truly miss her but I know she is in a great place, in heaven with so great a reward!
Family,
We were with you in spirit today as you celebrated the wonderful life and legacy of Ms. Maxine. We were surrounding you with love and light and will keep you in continued prayer today and always. We are forever grateful for our time shared with Ms. Maxine here on earth.
Love and Blessings,

I've always thought my cousin Maxine was a beautiful person inside and outside. I didn't see her often, but I loved her still. Maxine was my Biology teacher when I was in the 10th grade many years ago and I have never seen a teacher teach the way that she did. I never ever saw her use a textbook while she was teaching. She will be missed greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. My special prayers and thoughts are with
Prentice, Glenda, Linda, Gail and Robbie .I love you. Dianne Slaughter Fuller , Forsyth, GA.

Cousins by marriage, friends by choice, Maxine welcomed me and made me feel totally at home. She had a special way of bringing out the best in everyone whose life she graced. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

Mrs Foster you were a great teacher who taught us so much about the bird & bees, frogs and every other animal you could find for us to disect!!! Because of your Zero tolerance for foolishness we are better people today. We love you but GOD love you more and has sent His angels down to give you your wings. Now go and soar like an eagle. We love you and will miss you . Lovey Davis - Sumner c/o 82
