Michael J. Barnes' Obituary
Michael was born on January 19, 1954 in Saint Louis, Missouri to John
and Lilie Mae Barnes. He married Beverly Ann Hendricks Barnes on
March 12, 1980 and they spent nearly fifty years together! They have
three perfect children, Courtney, Michael and Matthew and one
granddog, Manny.
Michael attended Northwest High School and graduated in 1972.
Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1979 from Southern Illinois
University Edwardsville; he later received his Master’s Degree in Biology
from Lindenwood University. Michael had a great career as a Science
Teacher at Hazelwood Central High School.
Michael was an excellent cook, loved to go dancing, watch Cardinals
games and ID TV, play computer games and chess, as well as hangout
at his favorite bar and grill, Rookies. He was able to make friends with
anybody due to his outgoing nature and fun personality. He is survived
by: his siblings ~ Joe, Jeanette (Jean) and Kenneth Barnes.
