Michael Reece's Obituary
Michael Renell Reece, Sr., was born on August 9, 1960 to the parents of Della
Mae Connelly and Willie Reece. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie
Reece and nephew Donnell Card, Sr.
He was educated in the Saint Louis, Public School System and also graduated.
He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Mt. Chapel M.B.
Church.
On September 5, 1997 he was joined in holy matrimony to Rebecca Jean Muniz, to this union three children were born.
He was a Certified Nurse Assistant and he worked in several nursing homes.
Michael had a passion for family gathering, barbecuing, and feeding his
neighbors. His specialty was twice boiled and deep fried Tripe, for his family !!!
He was always fixing things around his mother’s house.
Michael was a fun, loving, caring, giving person, who will give you the shirt off
his back, he would always say “Can You Feel Me?!” and through it all he
survived being with Becky for thirty-two years… LOL!
He leaves to cherish his wife, Rebecca; children, Kenneth Diggs, Michael
Reece Jr., Andrew Muniz, Calvin Reece, Sr., Laura Reece and Della Reece; his
mother, Della Reece-Hopson; mother-in-law, Laura Muniz, Willie McGowan, Sr.
was a strong father figure in Michael’s life; three brothers, Willie Connelly
(Reece), Sr., Donovan Reece, Sr., and Willie McGowan, Jr.; six sisters, Karen
(Wayne) James, Paula Reece, Lana Reece-Gates (Jerome), Alonda (Roamy)
Whittier, Rolanda Whittier, and Sheena (David) Byrd; twenty-four
grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family
and friends.
