I’ve know Michael since kindergarten… he has been a constant source of good energy and positive since day 1! Every time we would talk or reconnect since then, he would talk to me like we were talking for days! He was a truly inspiring soul who went through so much, and never let it show. I’ll miss you Michael, rest easy ❤️🩹
I’ve known Michael since 10th grade. I met him during my summer at the UMSL bridge program, and he was the first person I talked to! He was super super kind to everyone, and was the class clown in Ms. Hawthorne’s English class. Always cracking jokes and breaking the ice each year during the Bridge Summer and Saturday Academies. He also was an academic competitor of mine. Always encouraging us to do our work (it’s hard to do extra work from a program whilst being at school too). I probably wouldn’t have passed the college and career class if he didn’t remind us to turn in our essays… Thank you for everything you did for UMSL Bridge and beyond! Shine bright, superstar! I will always wear my blue wristband 💙
Michael was a very sweet person and was kind to everybody and always put a smile on everyone’s face with his kind words and positive attitude.I’ve known Michael since the 6th grade and I have never seen him have a bad day, he never had a frown and always had a smile on his face.
I shared a few brief moments with him in Student Council, but he's the sweetest and caring person I know just from our brief encounters. I hope he's resting peacefully!
I shared half of my senior year with Michael in acting class. He was always complementing us on how we did in our scenes or how emotional we were but Michael would never compliment himself and always beat himself up over his performances, that he wasn’t good enough or didn’t sound like us, and the thing is, he was amazing and majority of the time he performed better than us. Michael was a kind soul and I hope how many people truly cared for him as he cared for others. I wish him a peaceful rest.
Michael was always such a sweet person. He had such a kind heart and was a great friend to everyone. I remember when we became best-friends in the 8th grade and we would spend every day on the phone together. We grew apart but he always remained a sweet and kindhearted person to me. He has left a big impact on those who knew him and we will always keep him in our hearts and prayers.
Michael always put a smile on my face as he came down the F hall and greeted Mrs Mulligan and I with big hugs. In class he was so attentive and curious to learn. He absolutely loved lab days when he got to cook with his team! He showed the utmost kindness and strived to work well with his group! I am deeply saddened by his passing, but he seemed to be a young man who lived his short time on Earth with great love, kindness and a lot of positive energy. Heaven got a great one!

Michael was such a great person all throughout my time knowing him in high school. I remember our Spanish class where he would come in giving everyone hugs. We would have great conversations about what we learned and just life in general. I always looked forward to seeing him because I knew he would bring positivity. He will truly be missed by me❣️
