Odell David Bonds' Obituary
Odell David Bonds was born on August 1, 1948 to the union of
Marie and Odell Bonds of St. Louis, Missouri, both of whom
preceded him in death.
Odell was educated in the St. Louis Public School System.
He graduated from Soldan High School and he received an
Associates Degree.
Odell met and married Charlene Patton and they were blessed with
four daughters.
Odell wanted to serve his country so he enlisted in the Army where
he fought in the Vietnam War.
On April 30, 2016, Odell answered the Mater’s Call.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his four daughters ~ Shante
Freeman (Al), Quantrenae Johnson (Sean), Willester Butts (Jennifer)
and Shannon Petty; two sisters ~ Lois Bonds and Harriet Tillman of
St. Louis, Missouri; his twin brother ~ Odis Bonds; ten grandchildren;
five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, friends and a very special friend ~ Terry Hatcher.
Odell and Odis were surrogate fathers to David and Kelvin.
