Oliver Winston Pierce's Obituary
Oliver W. Pierce, Jr. “June” was born on September 29, 1947 to Oliver
and Ruth (Jenkins). Both of his parents and his brother Sherman Pierce
preceded him in death.
Oliver attended Sumner High School (Bull Dogs), after graduating he
enlisted into the United State Air Force.
June was married twice, first wife Lynette Maupin Pierce and to this
union one child was born Kristen Pierce. After his first marriage he
married his second wife Lillian (Marks) Pierce.
Oliver was employed by the Missouri employment office, St. Louis City
Hospital and the United States Federal building.
June was a people person and he could spark up a conversation with
anybody. He was witty, funny and kept a smile on his face. His past time
was dancing and listening to music. He will truly be missed by all.
He leaves to mourn: his daughter ~ Kristen Pierce; sister ~ Mildred
Outlaw; great niece ~ Christine Henderson; four grandchildren ~ Mya
Anderson, Kontrel Anderson, Jada Pierce and Cortez Pierce; great
grandson ~ Kayden Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends
