Ora Lee Grant's Obituary
Ora Grant was born June 12, 1927 to the union of Atlean Adam and Ivory Grant in Jones Town, Mississippi. She was the youngest of two daughters.
Ora got married at the age of sixteen to Edgar Miller and moved to Saint Louis, Missouri, where she gave birth to seven children: four girls and three sons. She was a mom that had plenty of love for her children, yet a strong disciplinarian.
In 1964, Ora went to work at Clean Coverall, where she stayed until she retired in 1989. She was a very outgoing and adventurous person and a people person. Yet, she was so full of wisdom and she would always take advantage of an opportunity to teach and share her wisdom with her children.
Preceding her in death are her daughter, Virgil, and son, Micheal.
Ora leaves to mourn: two sons ~ Alivn and Donald; three daughters ~ Atlean, Mary and Barbara; a sister ~ Mattie B. Kelly; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives.
