I have been trying to call Pearl for a long time. We worked together at SWBT for many years. We also served as officers for CWA Local 6300 for many years. I now live out of state but Pearl and I still kept in contact. I am so sad to hear of Pearls death. We always talked about our families and our God. Pearl will be missed by many. I loved Pearl and we always told each other we loved each other at the end of our phone conservation. Rest in Peace my friend. We will meet again.
My sincere condolences to the family of Pearl Turner. I worked with Pearl at Southwestern Bell in the mid to late 1980's. Pearl was a joy to me and always had a smile or a laugh. She was a very good Union Rep and knew the contract backwards and forwards. Pearl was good at her work too, which always made life easier for her bosses and coworkers. I had other family that worked at Bell and who also knew Pearl. She was always sweet to us and was a pleasure to know. She will be missed.
