Reginald J. Williams' Obituary
Affectionately known as “Reggie”, born June 27, 1958 in Saint Louis,
Missouri to Rosalie McKinney and Floyd Williams who both preceded
him in death. He received his education with the Saint Louis Public
school system and later went on to serve with the United States Army.
He, along with his sisters, were raised in faith and in The Church of God
in Christ under the careful watch and care of his mother and
grandmother. This led him to develop his own relationship and
understanding of faith and who the Lord was to him.
Although life wasn’t always easy for Reggie, he maintained his big
personality, funny sense of humor and his even bigger heart to serve
and help his family any way that he could. He was known for his
infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Even more so,
he had faith. Over the last few years of his life, this faith would be
pressed upon when he suffered multiple strokes. With, both his sisters
and family by his side, he fought the good fight. He upheld his spiritual
roots and never lost his faith in God.
Praying with both his sisters by his side during the rehabilitation, he
renewed his relationship with God.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022 around 7:00 p.m. at the age of sixty-three,
Reggie transitioned with his sister by his side.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters ~ Nina Everton (James
Everton) and Melanise Fowler (Anthony Fowler, Sr.); eight nieces and
nephews ~ Shante Hunter (Kevin Hunter), Cornell Everton, Candice
Shelton, Chrystal Eason (Jeremy Eason), Latresa Collier (Detreis
Collier), KaTrina Everton, Toni Fowler and Anthony Fowler, Jr. (Ryan
Fowler); twenty great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-niece and
nephew; as well as a host of family and friends.
